How does the Enemy Attack You?

The devil and his demons been around for a long time. They got some years on you. And if you’re a woman of God, they monitoring your every move, prowling around like a lion, waiting for you to slip up so they can devour you. The devil don’t play fair. He gonna kick you when you’re down. If he can’t get to you directly, best believe he will get to whoever he can that is close to you. And as much as I want to say that you are protected and that he can’t take you down, that may not be true in every situation. Because we all have weaknesses. We all have breaking points. But one thing I can say, is that the devil don’t learn no new tricks. He will stick to what has worked for him in the past. You can stay prayed up, you can be prepared, you can somewhat predict what angle he gonna come at you from, but if he is able to take you down, best believe that you won’t stay down.

Proverbs 24:6 says, For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of disaster.

I think sometimes we expect to be able to defend ourselves because we have God on our side. But sometimes, God allows things to happen in our lives to shape us into who He wants us to become. Just like Job, God allowed the devil to test him. Job lost everything. His family, his fortune & his health were taken from him. And even in Job’s trials, he did not curse God.

You may be in a season of trials. God may be allowing the enemy to come against you to test your faith. God may be testing you to see where your heart is. How will you respond? Will you stand like Job? Or will you curse God?

Be encouraged, you will make it through the trial. Paul says, when you can do nothing else, STAND. Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world. So whether you’re being attacked in your finances, relationships, in your mind and thoughts, or your health, remember that God has not left you. Yield to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead you day by day, moment by moment. This season of testing isn’t so you can come out of it the same, it is so you can grow closer to God, so you can become wiser in the ways of God & know God in a deeper way than you did before.

Heavenly Father,

We just gonna thank you right now for allowing us to be tested. Because we know that in the fire is where we are refined and purified. We thank you for your word that promises us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Allow us to see your hand in every situation we are going through this season. Help us to stand strong, to not be shaken, and to trust that you carrying us through. And on the other side this, we will know you deeper, we will be closer to you, and that our faith will be strengthened.
